Handwoven cushion cover with traditional "little man" (anthropoui) design. The bright colours and little human figures placed in a row, as if they are dancing, give the cushion cover a happy carefree look. It will give a touch of colour in all environments, especially in a child's room.

The formation of the "little man" design is very laborious. It involves counting the warp threads and placing the coloured threads forming the design, among them. This is the way all Cypriot traditional Phyti woven designs are made. Nowadays only a few old women in Phyti village on the western side of Cyprus still do Phyti weaving. I am trying to preserve the Phyti technique through this design.
